Due to its suitability to hot, dry climates, Shiraz has thrived in many Australian regions, notably the Barossa Valley but also in Margaret River. The region is producing medium-bodied Shiraz of high quality, with flavours of white pepper, spice and dark berries. Pair with charcuterie, grilled and roasted meats (lamb, beef and game), stews and casseroles or firm, aged cheeses.
