Houghton

Houghton wine barrel
Houghton was established in 1836 and is one of Australia's oldest operating wineries. The Swan Valley site’s colourful history includes tales of pioneer Scots, bandits, and generations of winemaking craftsmanship.

Houghton's claim to fame was in 1937 when winemaker Jack Mann created Houghton White Burgundy. Still popular today, Houghton White Classic is sold alongside their iconic, award-winning Cabernet Sauvignons.

Home to only 13 winemakers in its entire 180-year history, the Houghton wines are crafted with care, forethought and their loyal drinkers in mind.
