Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc Blends
Margaret River is famous for blending Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc and the blend continues to be one of the region’s best selling styles. Generally unwooded, these blends are usually crisp, clean and very refreshing and are best enjoyed young. Semillon can be grassy yet adds a honeyed richness to the tropical fruits and citrus aromas of Sauvignon Blanc. Pair with fresh oysters, shellfish, white fish dishes, chicken, salads or goat and sheep’s milk cheeses.
