Tassell Park Wines
Tassell Park Wines is very much a family operation and recognize the value of utilizing the services of an external winemaking consultant in order to achieve the exacting standards required to produce fine quality wines. They have been making wine onsite since vintage 2004 on the whites and vintage 2003 on the reds. They have an experienced and qualified full time vineyard management team applying the same consistent standards to premium grape production.
The Wine Centre believes Tassell Park wines represent very good value for money. For those looking for a slightly sweeter style we suggest trying the Chenin Blanc. The whites are very strong, the Sauvignon Blanc in particular has won many medals. At just a touch over $20 the Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps the best value Cabernet Sauvignon you can buy. The Tassell Park story started with the purchasing of its Treeton Road property in 1997. The vineyard was established and vines planted progressively from 1998 to 2001. Their first crop was harvested in 2001 resulting in the launch of the Tassell Park Wines label. This was closely followed by the construction of our existing winery and cellar door building. The cellar door tasting area opened to the public at Easter 2002.
