Hong Kong and Singapore Customers.

We have negotiated better freight rates for multiple cases (max 10 cases per shipment) for Singapore and Hong Kong customers. Order two cases or more and get your wine air-freighted to your door, packed in foam. For example 7 cases costs Aud$560, and in addition the Australian taxes are taken off (around 23%), and for Hong Kong customers, that means Australian wine is actually cheaper (especially for premium wine) in Hong Kong than it is in Australia. Singapore customers will still need to pay Singapore duties.

The centre's wine consultant, Conor Lagan has put together a Margaret River wine guide that is indispensible for those visiting the area, or looking to buy Margaret River Wine. It contains information, such as the GPS of each winery, to what wine is the district's best Shiraz. (We will give that away - it is Cape Mentelle).

Award Winning Dozens

Periodically we put together dozens of wines that have placed in various wine shows. These wines represent the best in class, and are always good value. As usual with us, these wines are NEVER run out or overstocked specials: in fact many of these wines are in very short supply due to their quality. In addition these dozens represent a saving on the normal price, and can normally be bought as all white, all red (2 bottles of each wine) or a mixed case of 6 red and 6 whites. Margaret River Wine Region

The region produces just 3% of the nation’s grapes, but it is responsible for more than 20% of the nation’s premium wines. The region boasts many small boutique wineries, as well as larger well known wineries. Though small in output, the region is large in area with several sub climates, allowing different varieties to excel in different areas. Margaret River is the most exciting of Australia’s wine regions.

Margaret River Regional Wine Centre

The centre sells wine grown in the Margaret River Wine District, and some selected wine from adjoining districts. We sell wine from as many local wineries as possible. Presently we carry wines from about 110 local wineries representing about 600 wines. Our staff taste all the wine we sell and are knowledgeable, unbiased, and enthusiastic about the product we sell.

The Margaret River Regional Wine Centre is situated in Cowaramup, in the true heart of the Margaret River Wine region. You can visit us and select from our huge range of local wine, taste a number of wines from different wineries (different ones every day!) or just talk wines. We are open from 10am to 7.00pm Monday to Saturday, and 12.00pm to 7.00pm on Sunday.
